Who we are
Who We Are
The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) is a dedicated non-profit association serving its members with industry data and information resources. It is the first such association to represent the interests of the petrochemicals and chemicals industries in the Arabian Gulf and it has brought a major dimension to its task by creating both a forum for discussion and a place where like-minded people can meet and share concepts and ideas. Since its inception in March 2006, the GPCA has earned the enviable reputation for steering the regional industries toward a whole new level of cooperation and raising the standard in terms of common ground interests.
Since its launch by the eight leading regional producers of chemicals and petrochemicals, its membership base has continued to grow at the phenomenal rate of 23% per annum. Today, GPCA's Full members are the leading regional petrochemicals and chemicals producers accounting for about 95% of the total regional output (by volume). Building on that, GPCA has emerged as the collective voice of the Arabian Gulf petrochemical and chemical industry on the regional and international scenes addressing issues of common interest. Over the years, GPCA has steadily expanded its portfolio of services from networking to include advocacy and content development.
